The second event Innisfail NAIDOC Community Street Walk held on Friday, November 13th saw a cross-section of community members attend along with local dignitaries such as Mayor Mark Nolan, CCRC CEO James Gott and community Elders from Chjowai HACC Program just to name a few. As well as locals there were a few out of town people who attended including a special appearance from “Murries on Bikes” who are affectionately known as MOB. This group comprised of members who had ridden up from Brisbane and Mackay as well as a member who had come across the Simpson Dessert to be a part of the local celebrations.
