CSS Administration Support Officer
The Community Support Services Administration Officer will provide administrative and program support to ensure the effective delivery of community support services.
This role requires a proactive and community-focused individual who can work collaboratively within a culturally diverse team environment while respecting and supporting the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to community support programs, including scheduling, record-keeping, and reporting.
- Assist in coordinating community activities, client services, and program operations.
- Maintain accurate databases, documentation, and filing systems in line with organisational requirements.
- Communicate respectfully with clients, community members, and stakeholders to support service delivery.
- Contribute to the promotion of culturally safe, community-driven practices.
Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated knowledge of and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories, and communities, with the ability to work in a culturally safe, responsive, and empowering way that supports community wellbeing.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage respectfully and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, community members, and non-Indigenous stakeholders across diverse contexts.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks, and deliver high-quality outcomes within deadlines, while maintaining accountability, reliability, and a positive, community-focused attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a culturally diverse team and independently with minimal supervision, showing initiative, adaptability, and respect for organisational values, policies, leadership, and community-driven goals.
- Good computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft 365 environment and experience with other database systems
